Goals essay

It is senior year and all the “hard work” we have put into going to school all these years is coming to an end. Everyone is applying to colleges and trying to figure out what is next. Adults keep asking me what I am planning to do, where I want to apply etc. To be honest I am still not completely sure where I will be in the future, but I do have goals to get to where I need to be. 

My major goal for my last year of high school is to figure out what and where I want to be once I start college. In order to reach this I need to put all my effort into keeping good grades and staying on top of school work. Another goal for this year is to apply to as many colleges as possible so I will have options. 

Thinking about 4-8 years after high school scares me because I know it will be here before we know it. Around that time I will be in my early 20’s and HOPEFULLY be planning my wedding but hey, a girl can only dream! One of my goals for around that time is to be done with college and to have already started my life. 

My lifetime career goal is to succeed in everything I do and to be able to support myself as well as the children I have. By reaching this I will always work hard and never give up on where I want to be. 

Life is what you make it and it is full of different choices and opportunities. Set goals and make yourself into the person you want to be.
